baldie
My long action floorplate will take both 300 win mag and also std 338 AICS magazines Garry, but the later CIP mags dont fit as they are ever so slightly longer. I have them in stock at £175 plus post.
gazzar15
Dave, please excuse my ignorance but what are the CIP mags? I will only be looking for standard AICS mags nothing out of the ordinary needed.
gazzar15
Presuming also that this is a LA Remington footprint replacement bottom metal?
baldie
Hi Garry, This is a L/A rem footprint bdm but needs fitting professionally. CIP length mags were brought out a few years ago. They are designed to just about accomodate a round loaded with a 300 grain bullet I believe. They are a tiny bit longer [5mm at a guess ] I use the ordinary length .338 mags in my own rifle with 250 grain bullets with no problem.
