alijnclarke Posted May 23, 2014 Report Share Posted May 23, 2014 So i'm thinking of treating myself to a 6.5x47 barrel for my AI and was wondering if I would be better going down the route of having a barrel made or just ordering one from sporting services? I've got no experience with 6.5x47, so thought i'd better ask here incase I'm better off with a certain twist rate or if it needs to be chambered to suit a certain bullet. I've currently got a 26" 308 barrel and would love a slightly shorter barrel if i can get away with it on this?
