dasherman Posted April 4, 2014 Report Share Posted April 4, 2014 Tenon is the same but you might need the headspace adjusted due to a couple of thou differences between rifles. Ronin Posted April 4, 2014 Report Share Posted April 4, 2014 Commission a riflesmith to replace the barrel with a quality replacement. By the time one has messed about with a take off barrel that may be shot out, poorly chambered, requires headspacing (re chambering), timing - setting it so the factory markings are in the right place,,,,,,, Not worth the hassle Buy a new barrel; get the work done by someone with provenance and you'll be happy.
