Tiff Posted March 31, 2014 Report Share Posted March 31, 2014 Edit: I was cleaning my rifle with Butch's at the time and typed that.....I meant to say I use JB Paste when I need to overhaul a s/h (but new to me) rifle or after a partially hard shooting session - i.e. 265 .338 rounds at Lydd in one day Just remember to use some oil in conjunction with the JB or it doesn't produce such good results in my experience. If the latter - yes I've used steel wool wrapped around a bronze brush to good effect. If the former - JB paste. If you do steel-wool it, polish it up with JB afterwards.
