Exeter lad
Hi guys need some info... I'm bout to buy a Remington 700 soon just for target work which is mainly prone shooting! I'm looking at the mcmillan line of stock like the a3-5... I also like the look if the varmint profile stocks my question is will they give me another cheek weld for my type of shooting? Cheers Aaron
Scotch_egg
I've got an A3-5 and A5 both adjustable. For prone and most target applications I prefer the straighter pistol grip. If you can get behind one there is nothing better than first hand experience. Your more than welcome to try mine but I thing your quite some distance from me. Exeter lad
That's a bugger! I've handled but not got behind a a3-5 before and loved the fill ect.. I think I've made my mind up and going for that model...
Bushdog
Aaron - as you know, I have an A3-5 - stocked .308. If you want to try it, send me a pm and we'll sort something out - we're not too far apart.
