dorsetveni
So I am new to deer stalking and will be purchasing my first centre fire rifle shortly (if all goes to plan). The rifle I am looking at is the Sako 75 finnlight in .308 I have read lots of good reviews on the sako 75 and have handled other 75's though not the finnlight. My only concern is the weight....being such a light rifle is the recoil likely to be an issue in this calibre? The rifle is moderated. Also is the lighter rifle likely to cause me an issue if I am using it on range days? I am not looking to enter competitions, just for pleasure. Roebuck
It's just perfect and 308 with a moderator is not a probleme.
trucraft
Buy it if the price is right. You won't regret it. Do a bit of research when choosing a mod.
David Hancock
I had a Finnlight in .243 which, unmoderated did suffer from muzzle flip, but with a T8 was superb. There is now a lot more choice regarding moderators than when I had mine. I loved the non slip stock, trigger and DM together with typical out of the box accuracy of .6MOA with factory loads - with and without mod.
