Manners MCS GAT Rem 700 LA RH stock

Manners Composite Stocks MCS GAT (Thumbhole tactical) inletted for Rem 700 RH, Long Action.

This stock is pillar bedded with devcon, bottom metal is also bedded in devcon and inlet is for Williams BDL bottom metal.

The inlet will accept standard Rem BDL bottom metal, but would benefit from bedding if used.

Stock is textured on pistol grip and forend and fitted with forend bipod post and flush cups to sides.

Its an excellent stock and in current form is the base for an extremely accurate stalking rifle.

The stock is the only item for sale in the pics.

I will take some better ones in a day or so.

Ive been asked a few questions re this via PM

 

 

The stock is in used condition, but solid and 100%

 

It could do with a refinish as there are a few chips in the black paintwork

 

The stock is pillar bedded win Devcon and would fit any LA Rem 700, however as with any stock, the end user would be better skim bedding the inlet to their OWN action for a 100% fit.

 

 

The Williams bottom metal is basically the same dimensions as the standard Rem 700 Bottom Metal - its just made of steel rather than alloy.

 

 

The area forward of the recoil lug by the way has been machined out to relieve the barrel that is fitted to the rifle at the moment

 

 

These stocks are circa 600 new and worth every penny, factor in pillars and bedding and your adding another 25%

 

 

300 is not a big ask especially delivered in the price.

A Steal for someone, heck, the Williams BM is worth close on £200 on its own....... and its unobtainable in UK .
