tony
Up to now I have always used a Lee case cutting tool with the case length gauge for all my case trimming, I have just checked the Lee reloading site but they dont do a case length gauge for the 6.5x47 Lap so is there an alternitive that can be used. Thanks, Tony.

.300wm
I had this problem with .204 as they used to make the tool but then stopped. Some people got around this by getting a similar size tool turned down on a lathe, I suppose you could give that a try.

I am forever making or modifying Lee gages for some of the odd ball cartridges I shoot. A friend with a small lathe is a friend, indeed. Frankly, I couldn't get by without mine. A small bench lathe should be standard reloader's gear. Mine has paid for itself many times over.~Andrew

247sniper
I made one from scatch, or you could simply turn a .222rem mag one down if you have a Lathe or know someone who has.
