mudlark
Hi I'm looking for some 60gr .22 subsonic rimfire. I think they used to be made by Aguilla.

tackb
I tried them in a ruger 10-22 and a finnfire and neither stabilised them ?
Andrew
The ammo is still made by Aguila. It is the "Sub Sonic Sniper" made for the Poseidon 1-9" twist Law Enforcement rifles. It is essentially a 22 Short casing with a long bullet. The velocity is about 950 fps so it really does require a fast twist for long range stabilization. From a 1-9" twist I have shot it accurately at ranges out to 200M. That all said, some 1-16" guns will stabilize it to an extent. All of my Brno's will stabilize it out to 50M but at 70M there is a pronounced yaw in the bullet. My Savage 16" rifle won't stabilize it at all with only 3 of ten rounds hitting a 12x12" paper at 25M and those hit sideways. Marlin micro-grooves are as bad.~Andrew
