MJR
Does anyone use Vectan and if so could you share your thoughts/results with the powder. Does anyone know their equivalent for N150 used in a .308? Thanks.

Laurie
I think it's Tubal 5000 Yes, that's spot on. I tried Vectan / Nobel-Sport powders some years back. The pistol grades worked really well for me in leverguns, but I never seemed to get as good results with the single-base Tubal rifle powders as I'd expect from Viht and Hodgdon. The double-base ball (SP-x) powders are good - SP7 between N135 and N140 burning rate wise, can give very good results in 308W with 150-175gn bullets. John Carmichael used it in his JHC TargetMaster 308W match ammo many, many years back with 150gn match bullets if memory serves right, but it's a right dirty burner. 325WSM
Tubal 3000 equates to R12 (now no longer available ) and is one of the best 308 loads for 150gn bullets. Try 44.5 grns.
