Custom only job. Neil Jones or similar in the USA.

Otherwise look for a bushing neck sizer die for something similar with a 40-deg shoulder. Forster is the only major player who makes bushing-bump types and there isn't a single 40-deg shoulder job in the entire list.

I considered 5.5X55AI at one time, but abandoned the idea as nobody makes standard sizer / seater dies except as custom jobs. People who used it in the early days of F-Class bought standard 6.5X55mm Redding Competition series dies with the sliding case-support sleeve and got Norman Clark to rechamber the sleeve to the AI form.

I've a vague feeling that somebody has since introduced a standard die set for the cartridge recently in their series X most expensive list or custom die list, but couldn't find it when I looked.

CH-4D does dies for over 2,000 cartridges specialising in obsolete and wildcat numbers. Might we worth seeing if they do it, or can do it for you - but I notice they have a 'please be patient - we're overwhelmed woith enquiries and orders during the present ongoing US shooting panic' type disclaimer on their home page. The US shooting scene is really in meltdown at the minute and it's getting worse as various state legislators start enacting new gun control legislation or threatening to do so.

Howdy! Still got my 6.5 x 55 Ack Imp dies, I have never used a body die only a custom full length resizing die with a bushing which I am not getting rid of.

I got a custom full length resizing die from Hornady for my 243 Ackley. I sent Ben Syring (Hornady) some twice fired Lapua cases and some 10 weeks or so later the die came back. I am very pleased with it. There a number of folk in the US who will make custom dies to your fired brass.

None of these options are however cheap. I felt the Hornady die fixed a problem for me without spending a fortune. However if I was contemplating a new build I would probably take a different route.

I wonder what the delivery time would be now John? Every company in the US firearms business is saying orders have gone through the roof and delivery times are seriously stretched.
