brandnewcombineharvester
heard and seen many people talk of these rounds. just the same in appearance as the hollow subs, wax lubed etc. but high velocity. i have been on the eley website and found nothing. 'pistol match' 'tenex', 'edge' etc.... so i am wondering not only what the name of these rounds are called, and where actually sells them! i am in kent, uk. farmer7
As far as I know they dont make a High velocity HP anymore. They used to be called Eley Scorpions, then changed to Eley High Velocity.
brandnewcombineharvester
yup! called eley today. not made them for years. bummer. just wanted an english brand of hv hollowpoints that are wax lubed plain lead, as that american stuff is all copper coated and very dirty. Wabbitslayer
Those eleys were the best HV hollowpoints. Its a shame they stopped making them. I think rws do a similar round.

Wabbitslayer
Looks like rws are using copper on their .22 HV's now. If you want HV lead .22 bullets there's the Remington cyclones. Don't know if they're any good but might be worth a look?
