Mr. Gain
I'm no fisherman but I would gladly team up with that noble pastime rather than the ridiculous airsoft crowd, The meeting of ways between older shooting sports and airsoft is new, and there are clearly different mind-sets involved, but personally I feel shooting should be as broad a church as possible. I've no time for target shooters who knock hunters, or rifle shooters who knock shotgunners, etc., etc. ad nauseam, and I'm no more bothered about how they dress than I am about re-enactors wearing historic costumes. What's clear is that airsofters like shooting, know their guns, and most take an interest in military history and current developments. Those are boxes I'd tick for myself, so I'm inclined to look for common ground rather than put my nose in the air.
baldie
it was the gun and tackle show dave and yes it was awsome I remember getting a rollocking for head shooting the rubber deer on the crossbow pay and play John You may be right Vince, it could have been in the pistol days thinking about it. I do remember being overwhelmed at the sheer size of it all, and everyone was there. That is possible again looking at the turnout this weekend. The only timeline point that sticks in my mind was seeing co2 rifles in use there that ran on the little powerlets [crosman ] The law had just changed to allow their use, as they were previously on ticket as firearms. It happened along with other firearms legislation, so i,m guessing it was around the pistol ban ?
patjack
Was it not on after the pistol ban came into force and if you were an angler/fisherman you could pop into next door and look around the fishing part of the show as well for free so was better value for money.
