Finman
Hi chaps, I use the 140SST and the 129SST but the best and most accurate load for my 6.5x55 is 50.3 gn Viht N160 CCIBR2 Lapua Brass Sierra 120gn SP this load shoots .156 3-shot 100yds groups and has put two fallow bucks down with authority (and minimal meat loss- both shot through the heart. And, yes Vim, I am a beginner! as most have been once). It zips at around 3000fps and has 9fps spread, so it should be a very accurate long range load too, but have not tried it. I am sure that it will do well with foxes too. As for the Barnes bullets: has anyone checked their price yet? I was having a chat with my gunsmith and he said that the RRP from GMK is around £40 or so per box! I'll stick with the Sierra's me thinks! best wishes, Finman
