Spec is as follows: Type eye safe diode Class IIIB Power 350mw variable Wavelength 805nm Beam Angle 6 degree Cheers, Simon Simon that specification is a little dubious; Class 11 (2) and below are only classed as eye safe due to the natural blink reflex limiting exposure of the eye to a few tenths of a second. Class 111b (3b) is not actually classed as eye safe per se but ok for reflections off matt surfaces etc so be aware. As with all lasers direct viewing is not advisable. Might go with one of the night master 800ir led lamps as it would be able to be used as a lamp aswell with the different LEDs. Does anyone use one of these with a nv device?
