Just wondering is there any export/ import laws on Rifle stocks from the USA? I have been looking into buying one from the states but not sure if there are any laws against.

Thanks

craigy,

I dont know of things have changed or not but i ordered my stock direct from Mcmillan over the phone in October 2006 and it arrived on my door step 2 weeks into March.

Did not need any export/import documentation.

I paid by Visa and my card was not debitted untill the stock was shipped.

Total cost including all taxes and duties was £320 but that was when the pound only bought $1.75

Iv'e brought several stocks from different companies in from US and never experienced a problem - however I have been stung with VAT and duty every time.

I have a Manners T4a and T2 on order at present - 12 week delivery (for the T4) so looking at Feb for the red parcel truck to come.

T2's are on the shelf now :(

Still saved a packet on buying here though ;)
