achosenman
yes they do but a normal sunshade actually works without degrading your image ? Agreed, but if they don't make a sunshade for your scope, what then? ATB

achosenman
Bog roll tube and some black an nasty tape ? You could do as long as you have a small objective lens. I have doubts it could withstand being chucked in the back of a 4X4 as you bounce your way from area to area doing vermin control. I sometimes use one in bright sunlight. I agree it does make a tiny difference, but not enough to have any impact on your ability to get a good sight picture or negatively affect your ability to shoot. It will however let you shoot into sun which sods law states will be necessary. When the sun goes down I simply remove it…what could be simpler? Alycidon
Unless foxes etc can now shoot back you are wasting your money. A
Foxshooter
They are also marketed under the name Killflash http://camouflage.com/ards-vars.php They are a hinderance for night shooting but have their worth in bright sun. Less bulky than a longer sunshade and possibly a bit cheaper depending on what scope you have. Mark
