whats the best way to key alli befor kg painting

I Want to spray some bottom metal which is alli and bare , what would be the best way to key it before the use of KG Guncoat

Danny the first thing id do is stick it in an envelope and post it to baldy dave, that kg stuff anint a touch on the propper duracoat.

to paint the ali panels on the cranes i repair it requires an acid dip and then the use of an etch primer which is all a lot of trouble and quite specialist which is why i farm it out for the small quantities i do .

 

maybe spuds advice is good?

 

if you really want to do it your self then i would contact a painting specialist and ask about ali painting?

Personally i wouldn't waste your time and money with gunkote...its utter shite.
