Cheers Dave The guy in the 4th photo down with the red jacket and orange ear defenders. Is he a forum member? I only ask as I was squadded with him on the 900yd detail on Monday? He shot a 67 to my 61 , I was fairly happy given the conditions and the fact it was my first comp , he didn't seem very happy! Andy

Cheers Dave Thanks Dave He did introduce himself but with it being my first comp and loads to remember I forgot. It was a good experience despite the weather. The poor weather meant me and my mate (also his first comp) sat in his van with a flask rather than socialise while waiting for the 1000yd detail. 6mmBR
It's time we rebuilt Offa's Dyke... Not such a bad idea Des. We can then charge people to come into Wales like we do on the Severn Bridge Don't forget your pass port to get out of Scotland See you over the weekend Dave
6.5Grendel
Did you like it ? Honestly? I thought it was quite expensive and long winded for 32 rounds fired. Normally there are 6 or so of us who book a lane for the afternoon and can blat away to our hearts content for about £15 (including a morning at short range). However I do see the benefit of shooting with different people and seeing their kit and techniques , I learned a bit about wind reading on the day and the pressure of competition focusses the mind . I could see that my scores would probably improve through competition I'm not an overly competetive by nature and I'm happy to shoot for fun. Glad I did it but not sure I could be bothered to traipse all over the country. Andy
