Sakoboomstick Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 if its any use, 167gn lapua heads on 54gn N150, sat 10 thou off the lands. fed 210 primers i havnt found anything better in my 30.06AI, this load is very accurate, the closest to one hole groups ive had yet. For example - in .308 / 7.62x51 - "usually" 46g Vit 140 under 155grain head and Fed 210m primer seated .010" off lands = excellence The rifle is a standard factory model not a custom. stag1933 Posted December 8, 2007 Report Share Posted December 8, 2007 Hi Ronin. When I had my SAKO TRGS .30-06 I used 51.5 gr Varget, Federal GM210M primer, and Speer 150gr SPBT bullet Ref. No. 2022 in Weatherby brass. I still use the same load for the rifles new owner, it is accurate and does little carcase damage if the shot is placed correctly. HWH.
