Tikka m595/695

A little help if anyone can please.

Does anyone here own a Tikka master sporter?

Would you know if the bottom metal is the same as used on the M595 / M695?

Would any one have pictures of the 595 and 695 bottom metal for a quick visual comparison?

We have a real opportunity for resurrecting the woodpecker 595/695 platform and giving it shiny new metal parts utilising AICS mags.

If anyone has some broken or unused plastic parts (either model) please get in touch!

Thank you, Cheers!

Already looked at it Aitken.

It could be done, but the action would require milling out to accept the feed lips of the AICS magazines, as they are a lot wider than a tikka.

This would require a reproof of the action, thus making the whole exercise prohibitively expensive.

The 'Master Sporter' is nothing more than the name used to market the standard stocked 595 'Hunter' on the other side of the Atlantic.

Unfortunately that's not quite right...
