I'll be shooting on Century this morning in the Welsh open, We are shooting 3/5/600 yards so there is a good chance we can bump into one another.Just keep an eye out at 600 yards for guys shooting F class amongst the TR shooters.

Dave is also here today and is shooting gallery rifle which is on ranges up by Stickledown.

Cheers

Hi Dave, was there today, we were shooting 600yds till 12-30, I did see you guys at 500 and when you moved back to 600 I asked some guy who had a big white work van in your crowed if he new a Dave that was shooting,,,,did not get much of a response from him so left it at that, pity really, would have been good to put a face to a name.......Anyway, how did you get on, any good?

Tony.

Hi Tony, sorry to have missed you.

We were on a tight schedule to get finnished before the 12.30 hooter and RO'ing duties made it tight to slip across.

Did you have a good day yourself looed like a bit of fun with the assortment of rifles on the firing point.

Not to bad a day myself and came 2nd in the F class, the wind made shooting quite interesting, more so when the wind droppped off than picked up. Up on Stickledown in the afternoon we were seeing up to 3 MOA wind shifts in seconds.

How did your .22-250AI live in that wind.

Cheers

Dave

Well done Dave, you must be pleased with your result, Yes I was really very pleased with the 22/250AI...82gn bergers...39grs of reloader19. was not scoring at all I just wanted to see how it would perform at longer range, dispite the wind, on average 3.5MOA of wind adjst required, not bad for a light weight round and I had quite a few v bulls so all in all delighted. Will be interesting next week as again up at Bisley shooting 1000yds with the same gun, dont think I will be doing so well at that range.

By the way Dave, what caliber were you shooting.

Tony.

She is a .284 Shehane,as the weekend has gone on she is shooting better and better.

I think the barrel is running in nicely now with 130 rounds through her and is settling in.

Cheers

Glad it run in OK Dave.

That was a leap of faith mate. :D

What a weekend. We have never had such a haul of medals.

I shot a maximum and broke the British record for advancing target LBP .22

I broke the multi target shotgun British record

Won the British championship target shotgun.

Helped the England squad win the home Nationals.

All in all, nine gold medals, and at least one silver [ i think ]

I,m knackered.

Had a good final day today and won the any rifle class during the Welsh match rifle meet.

The gun shot a lot better today and I tried 180 Bergers instead of SMK's.

She shot a very satisfying 75 11V's @ 1000 yards and held excellent elevation at 1100 and 1200 yards.

Cheers

Dave
