Finman
I use N135 in mine and have excellent results with the 39gn Blitzking. Get some 3900fps out of it. best wishes, Finman
Laurie
When I ran a bunch of combinations through my Savage LRPV for publication last year, I got good results from a range of Viht powders - N130, N530, N133, N140, N540. N135 was the odd one out in my rifle giving sooted cases and large MV spreads. N133 was used with 35gn HP Bergers and 39gn V-Maxes. Overall I found H322, Viht N140 and N530 the outstanding performers with 35-40gn bullets. H335 and H. BL-C(2) gave top MVs at the expense of group size. Good handloading procedures should be used working loads up from low starting levels while looking for signs of excessive pressure.
