Can you get a standard CZ synthetic stock for a .17hmr?

I know it may seem a daft question but the .22lr comes in synthetic but I have never seen a .17hmr in synthetic.

Thanks

I think the style stock is actually nylon? its very dense. The .22wmr stock will be the same as the .17 hmr, its the same action/magazine, so in theory the stocks should be interchangable, but isn,t yours a varmint spraggy?

I,m not sure what the wmr comes in, model wise, i ought to do, i screwcut one yesterday  but i,ve a feeling it was an american. I,ll try and find out today.

Yes...they look pretty decent.

CZ USA just list theirs as bein synthetic...now if thats Nylon or ??

it really doesnt say...Mc Millan lists theirs as fiberglass.

I am thinkin the Mc is the better of the two for material used.

But I guess my questions to the manufactures would be these:

Order fill time?

and this one would be directed more at McMillan....

For a period there it seemed as tho the quality control was slipping

is there or was there enough of a demand to clear the shelves of the

inferior ones?

I also have a 452 American with the walnut stock....for awhile I thought

about purchasing either the CZ version or the Mc Millan...

To be honest I like wood....

I learned to appreciate the synthetics from my Benelli SBE.

Both have their places.

So its on the individual...

The more I shoot mine....and once I got mine to shoot(wandering zero from bad rings)

the more I think just leave it alone.

K.I.S.S. or in other words Keep It Simple Stupid or thats how the sayin goes,No offense intended.

I searched the CZ site and price listings,Cannot find a price for the synthetic stock alone.

A call into the CZ rep of your area may help ya out further.

Also looked over the Mc Millian price list.

Seems theres 3 ways to go....

Order the stock, then ship them the cased action and barrel and stock and they will inlet and bed....for $700+

Or order the stock and take action and barrel to your smithy for inletting and bedding.

Order stock and you inlet and bed.Cheapest route your still lookin at over $400

When I was checking prices a year ago I thought the CZ stock was $300+ but I cant confirm that.

It was also one of the deciding factors in leaving mine in wood. And I dont really care for the Schnabel forestock.

I bought mine over 2 yrs ago,the price was around $350 throw on a good scope for $500(Leupold VX11 6-18x40) the cheap rings were $30. Replacing the rings($40 +s/h) for better ones(Leupold QRW) and the CZ Weaver Base($60+s/h) that slides on the dove tail and a couple extra 5 rd mags($30ea) and ya

can easily see there is $1,000 tied up in this lil rifle.

That was my mental limit for this one....

So for now I am content and plan on shooting the hell out of it.And have run about 1500 rounds thru it on a rough guess....It does its part as long as I do mine.
