DEADFOX
Hi to all Has anyone else tried the solid projectiles from Thegunroomuk.com I was given 100 34gr solids at the phoenix show last year. I tried them in my .22 Hornet head shoots on rabbits out to 100 yds and found them to be very accurate i was thinking of trying the 40gr SHP in my 223 rem any comments welcome

I would never see any reason to use solids on varmints. YMMV.. Tony
sean c
I bought some from him at the Newark show last week for my .338. I've not loaded them yet as im still looking for some loading data but im hoping they perform well.
baldie
Pretty certain they are banned on ranges such as Bisley because of the riccochet problem, they also behave differently on contact with the floor/butt apparently.
DEADFOX
Hi Tony I would never use them in the field I had a rabbit job in a disused sand quarry so ricochet was not problem i had no other use for them as i do not target shoot and it was more out of curiosity + a cheep days shooting. only posted as topic of interest and comment
