MalcW?
Have had a couple of chats with some friends about decoying rooks once the shooting season ends and we can get stuck into them on the maize game cover crops. One of them suggested using a pigeon flapper. Just replacing the pigeons with a couple of the black buggers. Anyone tried it?
6.5shooter
Malc, I have never used a flapper but i have used a carousel. Very very succussful if you get a few shot first and then place them open winged onto the carriers. I think they have to have a little action or movement to tempt them in better. Should work a treat. Garry We have a pigeon magnet that we can use, so will give that a go too. We'll set the ladder trap up a few days before we decide to give it a go and get ourselves some nice fresh decoys.
