1967spud
to be honest the question doesnt make much sense if you mean what seating depth is standard for this calibre it all depends on the actual rifles as two will never be quite the same this is why stoney oint made the oal gauge if you need more info on this get back to me

Ronin
Whoever cuts the chamber for you will either have a throated chambering reamer set (for example) to a 160 / 180 grain bullet or have a reamer with no leade at all They will then use a throating reamer to cut the throat for whatever bullet you choose to use. In the case of the 7x64, which I think is suited to heavier bullets, you would have a fairly long throat - thus allowing the seating of a heavy bullet at a point above the shoulder neck union allowing for max useage of powder capacity in the case. Some smiths have the same generic reamer, but two or three versions - one set for light varmint bullets, one for deer bullets, one for target weight bullets. The free bore (leade) for a 180 grain bullet is circa .160" if that helps (in 7mm anyway) If your smith (or u) are cutting the throat, then it also helps to cut a little and measure often to get optimum throat depth, checking with a dummy case / bullet........ Ronin
Speak to the Birmingham Proof House, they will mail you the spec sheet or contact a reamer manufacturer requesting a SAAMI spec print of the reamer.
