n8ess
I have just acquired a second hand Badger Ordinance one piece base, it has a thin film of what I am assuming is locktight? Any ideas of the best way to remove this without removing any material from the rail? Cheers Neil
andybrock
Hi Neil, Unless someone comes up with a home remedy I'm sure you can buy locktight remover, I'd try your local engineering suppliers. Cheers Andy

deerman
have you tryed heating it up abit I second the oven suggestion. Loctite is water based and once heated it will boil - if it has not been heated before during manufacturing of your part. Good luck, George
