To SAAMI or not to SAAMI

Well I have always said that when it comes to reloading the only stupid questions are the ones never asked.

 

I need to load up some 6mm Rem cases to fire form into something else. After looking through QL I can either have 6mm Rem or 6mm Rem (SAAMI)Now using a max or near max load of H1000 there is a 3 grain difference between the two using 115 grain heads, I don't fancy being 3 grains over on what is already a top end load.

this is a clasic example of a good cause to use the cream of wheat method Ian as its a lot safer and more controllable

 

if how ever you dont want to go that way

 

 

i would go the saami spec if that is the lower powder facter then see what the cases are coming out like after fireforming
