Well that's positive! I've been told the opposite and I'm inclined to believe that. Unless I've been fed a pack of lies which is of course possible. But when I spoke to certain people and mentioned the specifics of what I had been told, they were in agreement immediately, when it was in their best interests to say its nonsense. Anything beginning with a 3 is likely a much better barrel than anything beginning with a 5. Some poor results from 5 serialed rifles etc.

It was a joke, you've come in here for an argument, and you'll sadly be left arguing with yourself old boy.

The "data" is from two gunsmiths, a former AI employee and a distributor who have all confirmed the earlier barrels are much much better, and the later barrels suffer. I don't believe I have said that all AT-X will suffer from poor accuracy, did you leave the Engineers to pursue journalism?

AI chinned off Lothar and decided to do their own and they haven't been very consistent at all.

Sportsmans carry rifles and orders direct from AI with 6.5cm barrels. The newer trash barrels that AI have been producing somewhere.

For sale is my Tikka CTR adjustable in 6.5cm. (6 months old) 20 inch barrel. Cerakoted barreled action and bolt. <250 rounds. Factory option single stage/set trigger. Only the rifle is for sale, not the scope and rings pictured, however I have a Wildcat Evo moderator I can put in for a few Bob more. The rifle shoots sub half MOA (0.3 with no real load development using ELDx) Looking for £1050+RFD transfer. Selling to move onto other, heavier things. Thanks

Looking for an AI AT in 6.5cm preferably with a serial numbered barrel starting with a 3. If the barrel has a high count or a 5 serial I'm not fussed as long as its priced accordingly. Thanks

Hi all, Something I really really don't want to do. I'm selling my iconic rem700 AI AW chassis. The chassis is in great condition and comes with a spare set of OD genuine skins. I have sprayed the current skins with Krylon which will rub off if desired. I also have fitted extra LOP spacers from sporting services. I am looking for £550 for the chassis, and spare skins. Sporting Services had a 1.5 for sale at £750 with damage from arca rail fitting, so I believe this price to be more than fair. All the best. P.
