I use the small Hornady sonic cleaner with their One Shot solution ... Works really well on my brakes
OSOK
Not had an ultrasonic cleaner yet

It doesn't show lactic acid on the zep CLR

Screwfix

Submerge the brake in CLR and it starts on the carbon instantly..
Small bubbles fizz off the brake..
Usually I leave my brakes in the CLR for 24hrs..
I've got it in a glass jar and I've used the same lot for 10 cleans or more..
It stay active for a long time
-
I don't use it on barrels..
I tried it once and it was no better than boretec eliminator..
It probably gets into the fire cracking and does something..
My brakes come out the CLR like new..
-
no effort required
-
I use CLR but only on stainless brakes..
Leave soaking for a few hours..
A light brushing sees the brake clean as a whistle
-
I think it a ballache to time the brake but nothing wrong in somebody being that fussy 😊
-
The muzzle still needs threading..!!
All my barrels have an 18/1m thread so I can switch muzzle brakes and mods around if I want too..
I have 3 brakes and 2 mods.
-
I've had lots of different muzzle brakes and I've only had 1 timed brake..
It was an Armalon brake..
It had 90 degree ports on it and the others i are angled ports that are more efficient and less recoil.
Self timed brakes are great..
I have a dolphin self timed brake...
Fox firearms had quite a few in stock.
I do have a T3 terminator brake that had one alumn key to tighten up and a Roedale brake that has 2 to do up..

Hopefully a Team GB ftr shooter will reply

10mm sounds decent but it's likely to do better with the right lot..
You won't go wrong with tenex or match..!!
The centre X shot some 1/4 inch groups the other evening
I think I'd squeeze more accuracy out of my rifle if I shot off a bench on a more stable platform.
I'm usually shooting off the ground on a permission somewhere.
I've only go the standard trigger in it with a lighter yo dave spring in it..
I'd be interested in whether a new mod would change the accuracy as its seen lots of thousands of ammo..
I clean the throat occasionally and pull the boresnake through..
Borescoping it I feel its not dirty but a proper clean my improve the accuracy 🤷

Not sure I know anybody in f class that doesn't point

Nice groups.
I've had my CZ452 varmint nearing 25 years.
It too has seen lots of ammo

Bergers are the best bullets full stop

Centre x are shooting lower but they felt like they were a bit slower and quieter than the eley match

Have you got a photo..?

I tried R50 and they were pretty good.
Not as good as the lot of eley match I had at the time
