  1. March 3-24x42 FFP Mil FML-T1 Illuminated Ret

I won’t harp on about how good these scopes are, if you’re on this page I’m sure you know.

I’m only selling to purchase another March scope. I used as target / hunting cross over and the reticle was perfect for this a x3 mag illumination on the centre cross acted as a red dot.

Made to order in 2016 and now comes with 10 year warranty. Still another 4 years left. However March will support their scopes for a lifetime and warranty issues are practically unheard of. Blank warranty card, and transferable to new owner.

Scope is completely unblemished. Not a mark or scratch on the body of the scope. Lens are completely clear of marks or scratches. I’ve attached photos but reflections on the light and window show up.

Scope will come everything it does new, paperwork, warranty, manual, spare battery, sunshade, lens covers, flip up covers. Will include March throw lever. Tier one rings will not be included in sale, and will stay on the rifle until it’s sold.

Full spec can be found on March scopes website and some included in the pics.

Any further pics or information just ask.

    These cost £2400 new.

  2. Excellent example of Benelli 828U Black in a rare 26” barrel configuration.

    Lovely wood fitted.

Auto safety removed (can refit if desired and easily done DIY)

Comes box with everything it did as new.

With it being pretty much as new, bores are mirror finish, blueing and wood is also excellent with no marks.

Perhaps only done a few hundred carts since owning new. Bought from John Forsey brand new.

Can be viewed in Camberley / Frimley Surrey, meet at NRA Bisley or RFD at your own cost.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Can send additional pictures in high Rez over email / mobile

    £1450

This is in line with the cheapest 828U on guntrader with quality stock fitted.

    (Brand new price is £2,000)

  3. Accuracy International route as mentioned isn’t a bad shout. You could have one rifle, but multiple barrels (in any .308 bolt face calibre if you went AT / AT-X / AX308) Then you choose you calibre, barrel length, contour, material etc.

For example you could have 30” scaffold pole for F-Class, then screw in a short lightweight barrel for stalking / varminting. Choose one cross over optic or have different scopes for different applications. As mentioned will never be a light set up, however biathlon sling and some sticks you’re good to go.

  4. All optics referred to into this thread are top tier / quality optics. I’m confident every single one performs & tracks flawlessly.

Get above the £2k mark and we start moving into the area of diminishing returns. Everyone’s eyes “sees” differently so then area’s like image quality start become subjective. One man’s rubbish can be another mans gold. So as long as you are happy…. Who cares!?

What I will say is, for people with multiple top tier optics. Instead of just getting behind it and performing an ad-hoc evaluation. Print off some various optical evaluation charts off and test your scopes side by side in varying conditions (mirage, rain, sun toward you, overcast day, low light etc) You’ll be surprised what results you get. Almost all optical designs will have strengths & weaknesses.

Perhaps ZCO has indeed zero Compromises?? But you’ll pay for it… it’s up to the buyer if they want to spend an extra £1,500 for perhaps 5% gain on performance? We all have our vices and we can all spend our money how we like!

  5. Is hut 60 the one near the entrance behind the CPSA?

Is there any other hidden places at bisley to get ammunition or reloading supplies?

Only places I know is the NRA armoury, William evens, and the worst gun shop known to man….. Fultons.

  6. Howa + bifrost is a great combo.

For a budget of £1k I would want to get some Japanese glass. Most likely from LOW.

    Initial thoughts:

Sightron Stac - available in both MOA/MIL also in FFP & SFP in a series of magnifications and objective sizes.

    Vortex LHT

    3-15x50 SFP (MOA or Mil)

    4.5-22x50 FFP (MOA or Mil)

    Or

Used Bushnell Elite, be it DMR, LRHS or LRTS

All if the above great glass for the money, have a dailable turrets and for the most part available in both moa/mil options.

    I shall continue to think

  7. Is there anyone with quickload able to do me a favour and run a few calculations for me? I’ve emailed reload Swiss a few times and they never got back to me (normally they are spot on)

If you’re willing & able please PM me.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mark

  8. Reading the post I knew it seemed strangely familiar. Looking back, it’s not actually lifted from my UKV advert so my apologies, but in fact my eBay advert for the same scope up for sale.

Of course I don’t mind you adapting, but myself and others are just giving guidance on how to make your advert more successful for sale.

Most people who spend this sort of money on a scope are quite anal and know exactly what they want, and equally want to know what they are buying is what they are getting.

You’ve already removed the MSR reticle from the post but I would also remove Finn accuracy from the description. Equally the scope box picture shows CCW turrets whereas the advert states clockwise turrets. That way no one can argue they thought they were expecting something else on delivery.

Good luck with the sale. 👍
