  1. Brand new Tier one ELR Bipod spik feet after £43 posted. They are black unlike the ones in the pic below. Spartan tactical legs. Black pair for £140 posted. Brand new as per link https://www.uttings.co.uk/p135692-spartan-tac-leg-only-black-tac-leg-black/
  2. I'm using 183g smks and they have been a lot less seating depth fussy than the Berger's. I'm getting about 2840fps with 60.5g. I'm trying to get me Norma brass and barrell to last me at least 2000 rounds. The load is producing low es and SD and I I do my bit I get 1/4 to 1/3 moa. Im guessing you don't want to trim back to trim length if you don't have to? If the carbon fouling around the neck is fine I'll just leave things are as they are. Will check the chamber for carbon build up and clean. Was a bit concerned when I read about carbon build up from brass that hasn't sealed in the chamber leading to rifle blowing up on people.
  3. Thank you..the brass has been annealed and I will do some.more.load testing as I had a node at.a higher charge but primers were very flat and had extractor.swipe
  4. Just wondering if anyone can answer the following question please. The book trim length is 2.025 and my fired brass which chambered so I used it measured 2.038". However noticed carbon fouling on some cases going down to the head of the case. So I assumed the case was not sealing in the chamber properly. The next lot I trimmed down to 2.030. I'm still getting some soot at the neck. Just wondering if this is fine. The rifle is shooting low SD/ES, and as accurately as I'd like, so I'm happy with that. P.s. I'm bumping shoulders 2thou
  5. I'll answer me own question incase it helps someone else. Yes indeed hornadys work as do Wilson bushings..boight them and tested today with some decent groups.
  6. Christopher Ward C60 in veryw good condition. No scratches to bezel/glass. Other micro scratches commensurate with normal wear. Not really worn much as my day do say work won't allow so in excellent condition.£330 posted
  7. Hornady flashole deburr tool. Boxed ready to go. Used once and put away. So have to say used but practically unused. £33 posted
  8. Thanks for the advice all. I think my neck wall is about 12thou so neck snapping off is a real concern. But I am getting some real good SDs/ES. So I guess one has to compromise. Once again a lovely gentleman off here has offered to lend me his tube mic. I won't go as far as to identify him. You know who you are. 😉 I was so afraid to reload me first time, I had all me equipment, set up and sat there, but really wanted someone to show me the ropes 😂. Turns out this person was just a few minutes down the road. Came over and spent a good couple of hours showing me the ropes. Since then has had to put up with me incessant questions. There are still some genuine, good people out there. Thank you
  9. I'm about to neck turn some new brass (Remington), based in the thickness of some Norma brass that has been neck turned for a tight neck chamber. I measured me Norma brass with a seated bullet and subtracted the bullet diameter from the neck diameter and did the divide my two to get 12thou. Do I just trim the Remington brass to 12thou thickness? I don't have a tube micrometer so had to used standard calipers. What that's best way to do this? I'm guessing tube micrometer if I can get an imperial one somewhere. Thank you
  10. I'll have the butstock, rail, grip, and folding adaptor if you want to go halves with me. You can have the chassis. Then all you need is one of the cheaper buttstocks
  11. Anyone know if I can Redding bushings in me hornady FL bushing dies please? Thanks
  12. Clearly there was a typo and he must have omitted a zero. At least that's how the ad and subsequent replies read 😉
  13. Close up of the cutout for the bolt handle that was shaped by me smith to accept straight bolt handles on custom actions.
  14. Can't get it anywhere in the UK. Fantastically comfortable grip, the most comfortable grip you can put on your rifle. Will fit any rifle that accepts AR grips £50 posted.
