  1. Tough decision but life has changed in the last year and I’ve had to admit that I’m just not going to be able to put the time into being able to compete in PRL / 22 at least for the next couple of years.

I am not looking for offers on these as they’re both absolutely amazing and I will quite happily keep them to shoot (and maybe compete in a few years) , but they deserve to go to someone who will use them what they were designed for really.

I will not be sad if they don’t sell, put it that way 😆

They are built to be very similar to shoot (same chassis, same trigger) so you can use the .22 as a trainer.

Both are sporting Timney Calvin Elite triggers which I chose because they give you lateral adjustment and customisable shoes meaning you can get them in just the right place for your finger.

Please note that the prices do not include the scope and mounts (Matching Athlon Ares ETR and Burris signature mounts)  but they could be included by negotiation.

Both are far more accurate than I but I have included some recent targets 🤷‍♂️

    6mm GT

I decided on this last summer after doing a lot of research on which 6mm and I have to say it hasn’t disappointed. The barrelled action was finally built by Alan at GTAC earlier this year after getting all the bits imported (slowly!)

I’ve settled on running the 109s over ramshot hunter at 2800fps but if you can get your hands on Varget then this is the powder it was built for. Good speeds, good barrel life and the feeding seems to be great from the AI mags which were recommended.

This has had 102 rounds down it so the brass is once fired, except for the two cases I had to send to proof which are twice fired. I had ordered 500 but only 100 got imported (legally I hasten to add!)

You can get alpha brass from brownells (and possibly C2) BUT Lapua are producing brass later this year and I have two boxes already on order with my RFD (I am sure they would be happy to honour this order for the new owner but this would be at cost when it comes in)

The balance is just in front of the barricade stop, it needs about 1lb on the stock to balance it perfectly.

Includes 2400 hornady 109s as well as the reamer to get more barrels made, should keep you in business for a while! (Not for sale separately)

    Vudoo V22

Absolutely cracking rimfire, everything else I’ve used has just been a toy compared to this!
I’ve been running SK long range match in it just fine, but I am sure you could find a more accurate round. R50 was very promising the one time I used it, none of the Eley I’ve tried went very well (it’s built for lapua / SK really)

I’ve fitted a slab of stainless steel in the fore end which has the balance perfect now.

    20” kukri profile barrel

    30moa rail

    sniper grey barrelled action

( note fore-end weights not included)

These were the last groups I shot with it a couple of months back not just the cherry picked best (it’s certainly shot smaller) , all 10 rounds SK long range match at 50y

  2. 11 hours ago, No i deer said:

I picked up 500 of centre X yesterday to try in my CZ452 varmint.

My current lot of eley match isn't so good..

Probably 650 of them to use up yet..

There more accurate than hunting ammo but not as good as some lots I've had.

Nice, in the Vudoo I didn’t find any improvement with X over the SK LRM but the R50 was belting.

I’ve been very unimpressed with Eley of late, I’ve even tried a couple of batches of tenex and the SD and grouping was worse than SK LRM.
also tried team when that first came out as my old RPRR liked Edge and I was getting maybe 2/10 failure to fire, soured the brand for me a bit

  3. These have been sat on the shelf for a few months and as much as I want to keep them as spares I can't really justify it!
Prices are fixed and are + postage which will be £10-20 for special delivery or you're welcome to come check any of them out if you're near Devon

The reticule photos show approx range of 1550m and were taken with my phone

    Riton X7 4-32 £325
This is a very under rated scope and has been on my 300PRC, exceptional glass and lifetime warranty with OPW
No box I am afraid it was lost to asbestos.

    Two minor points to raise
1- Under the advice of optics warehouse, the zero stop was removed (and lost with the box) , this is because the elevation was limited to 19mil from the factory, it now has the full range.
2- I clipped the little zoom lever with my bolt and it has broken off, if it was important I would just get a 3d printed throw lever for it!

    Athlon 10-40x £250
I sold this one via eBay (shudder) and it was returned to me for being "milky", honestly I just don't think the guy understood what eye relief is as
I have never had an issue at all with it (used it for BR20 on my airgun). I always thought it was very good for a cheaper scope, however the eye relief is very fine at the top end. Photos through the scope are included and happy to provide more information if I can
Athlon's lifetime warranty can also help out if required!

some light marks to the objective  bell as shown. This one is all boxed
