    Looks good that mate.

Mine shoots the 77gr TMKs nicely too. Though mine is just a standard Varmint 223 in a PSE stock

To be honest it shoots anything from 50gr Barnes TTSX, 55gr sierra gamekings to the 77gr TMK's hole in hole so long as I do my part.

It was yourself that put me onto the 223 varmint/supervarmint

Do you load these long and single load, or do you have an aftermarket mag, that allows longer cartridge use?

I have one of these and am struggling a bit with SAAMI spec length, but can't load them much longer as they don't fit in a standard Tikka magazine.

Good job I’ve got some WR mags . Standard tikka on the left .F516D44E-D65C-43E8-9DA6-0AB97E5A80BA.thumb.jpeg.a5abf0cd6b6fbb9a01551c4112190b8d.jpeg

Sorry to but in, but I have the same rifle, barrel length & twist, so I also have issues getting them to work at the lengths in a standard mg.

What is the magazine you are using - WR? and where did you get one?

How much was it, if you don't mind me asking.

Selling a sinclair tactical bipod. Fantastic bipod. Dare i say the best i have used. Have compared it to the likes of atlas, phoenix, tierone etc. This particular bipod eas the most versatile. Unlike the phoenix which was for me the next most stable. The leg length is perfect. You can get it really low like a Fclass bipod or high as anyone would need.

Having read all the reviews, i have loctited and adjusted all the screws to make it perfect in operation. I also removed the felt pad and chsnged it for a 3mm closed cell foam pad now looks and performs amazingly.

After £215 posted. If you are after a rocksolid bipod for a long range rifle look no further.

Looking at the pictures on the email, I can't see how it attaches to the stock. Do you have any other pictures, please?

  4. Hi Chaps.

I have a Tikka T3X Supervarmint in .223 with 1:8 twist and a 20" barrel, that I want to use on the land for general varmint shooting: Fox, Rabbit, Crow etc.

The problem I've encountered is the best OAL using standard mag length is miles out of the lands and I don't want to single feed, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good accurate bullet and load data using Vhit 140, please, that fits in the magazine?

Obviously any comments will be treated as advice only and I'll work within normal parameters of the data, but my main thing is the bullet brand, weight, type etc; then the best mag fit length to give me goo accuracy out to 300 yards.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Working back from your terminal vel. at 1000 yds my ballistic app gives a velocity of 2801 fps at 100 yds and a muzzle velocity of 2976 fps - which sounds about right Matey.

    Thanks Vince.

I'll get that added to my iStrelok app, ready for the next comp.

PS. I've sorted out the 100 yard zero and zero stop issue today, so all good to go again.

  6. As my chronograph isn't working, I want to find out my FPS at 100 yards, using the speed info I have from 1,000 yards?

I was using a Berger 130gn VLD bullet in my 6.5x47 rifle, which achieved an average of 1,510fps @ 1,000 yards, according to the electronic target readout.

Is there a formula I can use, or someone who can tell me the answer, so I can input it into my iStrelok app, to be used for other distances?

    Here's hoping.

    I love the 6mmbr.

If the mag kits can run 10 rounds through an AX in 6mmbr I’ll change my spare barrel slot from 6mm Creed Bro. I’ve got that much 6mmbr brass sat about it’ll save me hundreds.

I've got the HRD Gear 6mm br mag kit from Dave Wylde for the barrel he put onto my AX and putting 10 rounds in and feeding isn't a problem.

It could be worth investing the few pounds it costs (against all the expense of a creed) to check it out; and if you're not happy then you can use your slot on your ticket and sell me the conversion kit (obviously at secondhand rates).

    Hi all

when I was choosing my 223 I saw on here somewhere about tikka 223 magazine s wearing the feed lips . My 223 should be a six round capacity but it does scrape the lips when fully loaded . It’s fine if only 5 are loaded. Bought some six and ten round mags WR alloy ones from rifle mags and can confirm they are true 6and 10 round capacity and can accommodate upto 2.6” coal . There is a tikka metal lip option also but these alloy mags work a dream .
    cheers

Do you have a part number and price, please?

    Cheers. Paul
