  1. So I am looking at joining a couple more clubs. I have been a member of one that shoots at Otterburn for more than 10 years but range days are becoming fewer.

My eye dominance has screwed up my competitive clay shooting bug time so I have more time to get out with the rifle. Now my clay shooting competition was super serious so I am scunnered with heavy competition as it squeezes the pleasure out of life.  Happy to shoot competition and different things as it is all learning but I am going to stop myself getting serious about it.

So I need a bit of a steer on what's about that may be for me.

I recently moved to Fife and I have put feelers out to a couple of clubs that shoot at Blairadam as that is a no brainer. I will go to Morton for a bit of indoor action as and when.

I was thinking about putting in an appearance as a visitor up at West Atholl, seeing as I can it would be daft not to.  What's the scoop at Eskdalemuir? I don't mean the planning dramas, I just want to know how the shooting works etc. I do like a bit of ringing steel.

Suggestions welcome. On the thread or pm if you would rather.

    Cheers

    Andy

  2. I have an AX 2013 model. Really like it and the speed adjustments (now thought of as the AT style) I have on the stock which let me set it up just so, very quickly. I also like the forehand tube for non-standard positions.  It is a lifer. I am happy with what I have. However, if I was going to make the decision now I would probably go for the AT-X as you can drop in a competition trigger. The existing trigger is fine for me, but there are better aftermarket triggers out there

  3. Update:

Added photos. Tried to show the body and turrets are in excellent condition. As is the glass, but I am not sure I quite managed to capture it in the photos.

    Kahles 624i riflescope.

    0.25 Moa adjustments

    6-24x56

Front Focal Plane, illuminated MOAK reticle, 34mm tube, CCW elevation adjustments

Parallax adjustment under the elevation turret, illumination on the left, windage on the right.

    Comes with:

    - 34mm picatinny rail rings fitted

    - Vortex lens caps

Perfect performance, tracking is spot on and repeatable

Glass is perfect. No visible marks, possibly under the rings I suppose. It has not been a cabinet queen; been used for all sorts of stalking and shooting steel all over the place.

Only getting sold to buy a Swaro ds Gen 2, otherwise I will be keeping it.

    Advertised elsewhere

    £1700 shipped

pm's please but post on the thread that you have sent a pm
