  2. I have 2 serious enquiries thus far. The first guy asked me to phone him but I can only get a message recorder, the second enquiry is ready to purchase.
  3. As far as I am aware, there were no "Matching" bayonets, they were issued to the unit in batches of rifles with batches of bayonets but not "matching" as such. No, I do not have a bayonet for it.
  4. I have for sale my Lee Enfield No..4 MKII rifle. It is a Fazackerly built rifle made in 1955 and purchased new by me with only proofing rounds fired.I have since purchased but never fitted a height adjustable fore sight.Other extras/accessories I bought for it are:3 stripper clips although I believe only the one is for the 303, I have never used it.A Brass Oil Bottle.2 slings, one in light Tan colour, the other Green. I had fitted the Tan one but after noticing the mark it had made in the fore-stock as highlighted in the photo, I took it off again. This rifle has less than 80 rounds through the barrel, 20 were factory PPU (just so I could feel what she was like to shoot properly) and the other 60 were Lead Spire points from Dodgy Roger powered by 15grains of Alliant 2400 (shot just to satisfy the FEO)It is a beautiful rifle in "almost" immaculate condition. I bought it because it was the same as my father used in WWII so I wanted it for sentimental reasons really which is why it got almost no use, however, I need to fund a CSR rifle so this little beauty has to go.I'm asking £900 pounds for the complete ensemble and if I get the asking price, I will throw in the reloading dies, what brass I have and my left-over lead spire point bullets. There are several photos I took on 30//07/2020 so rather than make this post rather long, I have included a link to my OneDrive folder containting the photos below. 5. Yes, I have to add my endorsements for Mik, Tina and the Dolphin crew. Brilliant people to deal with and excellent quality rifles.
  6. Many thanks for your replies gentlemen, they are very much appreciated. Laurie, thanks for the heads-up on using RS62 in a .308. I'll give that idea a miss then :-) I might try the RS62 in my .260 Rem, I'll have to think about that. From what you and Extrema have said, it's probably not the best suited to the task. I have been using Viht N150 & N540 for my .308 and N160 for my .260, perhaps I should stay with those. Cheers guys and many thanks Bob
  7. No, But I have! :-(
  8. Sorry to resurrect an old thread but there are two reasons I have done so. 1). I greatly respect Laurie's knowledge. 2). he mentioned using the exact powder/bullet I am interested in. I have been told it's well worth trying RS62 in my Accuracy International which has both a 7.62 and also a .260 Rem Barrel. For my 7.62 barrel, I usually shoot HBC 155gr bullets For my .260 Rem, I use Lapua Scenar 139gr bullets I have been trying to find load data for these using RS62 but have thus far been unsuccessful. Then I found this old thread And as I greatly respect and trust Laurie's expert opinion I was really interested in his results and would ask if he could point me in the direction of a safe RS62 load to start working with. All the best Bob
