As Nick said, Ase mods can use the BoreLock muzzle brake. I have this combo and bought it complete as such; muzzle brake and moderator in a package.
A lot more American made moderators attach to muzzle brakes. As far as I know, only the Ase, Accuracy International and certain models of MAE moderator can be fitted to a brake.
Is the consensus that in the UK/Europe people would tend to use one or the other? As in, being happy to completely unscrew a brake to put a mod on?

Hi there, yes it was the 100, and I was using SK Match. I thought I'd switch to the RWS as they are a little more consistent but I found that they were not much better so I swapped back to the SK. I'm really impressed with the SK and allegedly they are made using Lapua machinery once Lapua think that the high tolerances that they demand start dropping off slightly, how true this is I'm not sure , either way for what it costs for a thousand I'm more than happy.
Ah that’s excellent! I’ve not tried RWS SM but have had good results out to 50m with R50. Just need to get more range time!

Is that last group at 100? If so, brilliant shooting! Was that using the SK or RWS ammo?

Not sure about laser etching but I did see something a while back about marking the head with a stamp/punch and hammer. Far too much effort for me though!

If it helps you justify the cost to your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/cat/dog, I’d be happy to take payments in instalments over three-four months!

Funny to see how reluctant they are to finish the belt; don’t blame them!
Wonder whether they were able to remove the broken bits from the barrel - probably welded fairly tightly!

At the speed of a thousand gazelles. Never got that one - surely one is as fast as a thousand? Unless the pack mentality causes a collective increase in speed...

I’m not especially experienced with longer range .308 shooting but by all accounts heavier but slower will buck the wind better. I’m getting a 175gr TMK up to 2,670fps. Need to chrono my CFE223 loads but hoping it to be fairly similar.
Alliant Power Pro 2000MR is supposedly very good for .308 but there’s not much of it in the UK yet.
What twist rate is your barrel?
