Hello, I have been looking for a .308 rifle and the CTR ticks alot of boxes in the 1k price bracket. Are they really stainless steel or painted silver? Is it worth the extra money for stainless or just go for the blued model? It is for stalking but i like the silver finish. Thanks Phil

Hello. Has anyone converted a Browning Buckmark to a Long barrel pistol themselves? Is it legally possible with correct proof testing? I can pick one up for £400 and it’s only shorten the barrel and add a coat hanger to the pistol grip. Thanks for your advice

Thank you! It is a shame to sell it but I like my woodland stalking and this is just a bit big and heavy. I did get the barrel shortened too, to 20” and it makes a nice rifle. No, I sold the nut but that chap will soon post another one for the prospective buyer.

Thanks for the replies. True, it is free floating too. And yes, only Aero hand guards but thankfully they are nice hand guards. It is already 16” and want to keep the length. And it is very accurate too being a bull barrel. It just buggers up the balance of the rifle. I would like to know what carbon sleeves or tubes to use so I can turn the barrel down fit carbon sleeve it. I work in engineering so turning down a diameter is easy. Thanks Phil

Hello, I have a CMMG .22 lr bull barrel on my AR-15 rifle. Aero precision M4E1 upper and lower. It is too heavy and need it lighter. Has anyone carbon tubed their barrel or would fluting be better? I need it lighter but without losing the bull barrel accuracy. thanks for your input phil

For sale, Tony Kidd Supergrade 10/22 Built by Tony in the USA and shipped over here complete. 18” barrel that is screw cut into the action. Thus not needing the bolt locking system. Kidd single stage trigger. Kidd bolt. In all, a complete build by Kidd. 1/2 MOA accuracy. This was my gallery rifle that I only used once a year at the Phoenix meeting competing in the 1500.
