Sako 75 - 6.5x47 Lapua

Recommended Posts

This rifle came in last week for a new barrel and a change of caliber. Originally a 22/250 the owner wanted something that was accurate for long range vermin and foxes but also deer legal, he decided on a 6.5x47. The original barrel was a 24" varmint but I profiled his new one to 22" and what I consider a heavy sporter. It really improved the handling of what was a very muzzle heavy set-up.

After re-fitting the customers scope these are the first and only 3 shots the rifle has fired and it was nice to see the original zero had hardly changed. Ive no doubt we can tighten things up with some proper load development but a promising start nonetheless.

#happycustomer :)
