DEADFOX Posted October 10, 2010 Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 hi to all i have just bought the aps bench priming tool and strip loader good bit of kit. apart from the c##p plastic bushings for the shell holders which broke within 5 mins no prob turned two up on mini lathe just a shame to build a tool so well and then rely on two bits of plastic to make it work. do any of you lads use one and what do you think of it as i am interested to know as i reload for 17 akley hornet 17 fireball 204 ruger 22 hornet 223 rem 22/250 rem 243 win DEADFOX Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alycidon Posted October 10, 2010 Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 I might have to have a play with that, I use a Lee hand primer tool, with 205s its fine but BR4s are a bit tougher and it takes some effort to get them all the way in. DEADFOX Posted October 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2010 hi to all got the APS bench priming tool set up setting primer depth was a bit of a pain and primed 500 cases in no time i do big batches because I'm out 5/6 nights a week and weekends doing pest control mostly lamp and n/v off the back of a truck i prefer to fire em than load em.
