AHPP
I'm guessing it's the wax from the bullets and the colder weather that is giving me sticky extraction in my CZ .22LR. Have tried a dry bronze brush but that hasn't worked. What to use to de-gunk the chamber?
baldie
Get a nylon .22 brush and bend it into a right angle. Soak the non threaded end in hoppes 009, or any bore solvent and insert it in the chamber. A good scrub with that will shift the wax. Pull the bore through with a dry patch then. AHPP
Can confirm that a patch soaked in bore solvent did the job very well. No more sticky extraction.
Dave 101
I just use a bronze brush soaked in Hoppes 009 , especialy for a competition no time to fiddle about in a timed match . Dave
