ejg223
Popped out to test a couple reloads. 45gr Varget under 165SST's seemed to group a bit tighter than than 44.5gr. Killed the farmers bucket while at it. Left 45gr Varget 3 shot, right 2 shot 44.5 Varget. Then this poor fella got a 165 SST out of the 308. As it started to get darker a couple calls brought this fella in, some healthy dog fox. Of course he came from behind, so a freehand shot at 90yds. This time 155gr a-maxes. edi

ejg223
Kip, that fox was an absolute beauty as if just groomed. That farm has so many rabbits that when tossing the fox in the ditch I almost hit a rabbit. They'd sit 10 yds in front of you. Not much fun shooting them. So a well fed fox. by the way fired two shots at a rabbit at 400m both missed don't know how you lads do it. At 300m my data worked but 400..? edi

Thought surely that little 223 wouldn't do any harm. wrong. blew a 2" hole clean through. edi
