Is the tac2 the same barrel as the match for the r93? Thats what I have, I am trying a few combinations at the moment. Tried factory lapua 155gr yesterday wasn't overly impressed about .75 inch grp at 100yds.

Are yours 3 shot grps?

 

So far

I have found the 110gr vmax with 45gr of vit 133 to be very accurate. 1.5 inch at 300yds.

Factory federal powershoks were very impressive . Federal Fusions a bit bigger grp but still 0k.

0.5 inch with 155 amax could improve this I think.

 

Thankfully it hates those very expensive Winchester silver tips.

yes 3 shot groups for load dev.

 

Tac 2 barrel is larger diameter at chamber than LRS2 and R93 varients.

 

 

Pretty sure chamber will be similar though.

 

Try handloading the 155's (Scenars) you may find it pays - although it seems the A max's work for you.
