jon
Fwiw .. the P7 and T7 are the same power etc but in different cases. T7 shaped to fit in a scope ring. .... I was talking to my local seller - apparently these models were upped from 170 to 200 lumens recently - she is waiting for new stock. They work well with sensible batteries. njc110381
That sounds really good. Does it really work well enough to lamp by out to 80 yards? That's a long way for a little torch!

eldon
This is what I carry when stalking etc and it is a cracking little torch with ali body and a decent beam, not of the 80 yd variety but good for looking round etc. At the price I don't think you can go wrong, http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchB...t&R=6605926

That's a long way for a little torch! Yes it illuminates up to that range Granted its nowhere near as bright as a decent lamp - but I find it provides enough light , without spooking bunnies - As some of the big lamps can do. I use this for lamping bunnies with my Finfire - and sold the scope mounted LF 140 - No more carrying big batteries and tangled wires for me Alan
njc110381
It sounds perfect for a little rimfire. I think I'll try one on my .22. How long do the batteries last on full power? It's got an impressive life on the energy saving mode but I can't find any mention of how long it will run for on the bright mode?
jon
Made the mistake of asking a mate who's into 'specialist kit' about torches - he said to check the website below ..... If you think the debate about sensible things like Beretta v Browning can get lively' try: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=222911 But I reckon the answer is somewhere between 'not very long and what the makers say' depending on ......
