l4oth
Has anyone thought about buying/building a rifle in .375 CheyTac as an alternative to either the .408 CheyTac or a .50 BMG? From the information I seen it looks to have been designed for long range civilian target shooting.....
Tiff
Has anyone thought about buying/building a rifle in .375 CheyTac as an alternative to either the .408 CheyTac or a .50 BMG? From the information I seen it looks to have been designed for long range civilian target shooting..... I would like to, however as always bullets are the problem....I'm not sure if the 350grain SMK's are available yet to widespread civilian orders for reloading over here. Also the 350 SMK's only have a B.C. of .75-.78 from field reports, giving little/no gains over the .338 300 grain bullets. Personally I'll hold off and stick with the .338, until brass/bullets get better.
sean c
I would love one but until (if) the component situation gets better I'll stick to the .338 and planned .50 BMG.
l4oth
Thanks for the replies. As you both say perhaps with the .375 components being scarce best stick with .50, .338 and .30s - for the time being at least.
