no knowledge of this in the 338 sorry.

Seems (on the figures quoted by gazzer) to be a smig slower than H1000.

It worked well in a mates 300 Winnie and its designed for magnum cartridges so worth a try if the price is right....

Thought I'd resurrect this thread.....any further info on what Ramshot Magnum is like in .338 Lap Mag, especially with 300 gr bullets?

I was going to use Retumbo again,, but with only 3 tubs within a 70 mile radius of me & all at £48 a tub (+none at Edgar Brothers or expected there any time soon) there seems little point in starting load development with it!

Alternatively I was thinking of N570, making the most of my new 33" barrel. I'm guessing Vit powders should not dry up like american produced/branded products....?

Anyway, as ever any thoughts greatly appreciated.

As an aside Henry Kranks are now selling Ramshot powders .The prices are reasonable for the current state of affairs ....around £32 a tub . They want £25 shipping charge for powder but IIRC that covers up to 11 kg ?

Worth it if a couple of you want to share an order.

I am also using magnum in 300 wm for my T3 varmint just working up a load at present but the signs are all positive..........
