casts_by_fly
When I bought my 223, I debated the same thing. Thinking back, I wish I had bought the AI. Aside from dies and die availability, there isn't a difference in ease of use. If you need ammo quickly, shoot some standard 223 through it. Really no reason to skip the AI. My logic at the time was that I was a first time reloader and didn't want to mess with a semi wildcat right off the start. That was faulty logic. Should mention that I'm using a single shot, so I can't comment about repeaters and cycling. Thanks Rick
Vermincinerator
Improved cartridges are not all about speed although this is why most of the users go for them. An often overlooked advantage of improved designs i there ability to be loaded to top end parent case balliatics but with reduced pressure, thus theoretically increasing barrel life. Ian.
