[your score 118/120] only beaten by Zaitsev with 119 who was Open Champion of the day. I have been watching your CPSA scores, you have had a good year so far with two 100 straights, seven 99s and five 98s. Much better than Fatfart and Fowlpest !!! Regards HWH. As expected the weather was very windy and cloudy with light drizzle at times but a much better day than yesterday. The main event was a 12 shot competition with 3 shots on the standard grouping target at 100yds and 9 shots on the Roebuck at 100yds, 70yds and 40 yds. [3 shots from each position.] 100yds simulated hi-seat, 70yds sitting and 40yds standing off the sticks. Max. score 120 points. Results :- 1. Zaitsev, Grouping 29/30 + 90/90 Roebuck, aggregate 119 ex 120. 2. stag1933, 30/30 + 88/90 agg. 118. 3. S.Heaps, 29/30 + 89/90 agg. 118. 4. J.Wolfe, 28/30 + 89/90 agg. 117. 5. E.Neasham, 28/30 + 89/90 agg. 117. Zaitsev won the Corney Open Cup and a days Red-Deer stalking in Martindale. stag1933 won the North West Shield. Eric Neasham won the Ray Barnes Cup for Light Rifle Class. [every entrant also received a prize as our shoots are `non profit making.` 130 yd 3 shot grouping target. 1. Ratwhiskers. 2. DL. 3. Spiderman. 4. S.Heaps. 5.stag1933. 130 yd 2 shot precision pool target. 1. DL. 2.Ratwhiskers. 3.Zaitsev. 4.R.Barnes. 5.Spiderman. The free raffle for a bottle of Scotch was won by entrant No 16 John Wolfe. All in all a good day with excellent scores but marred by mediocre weather.
