Travelling with firearms from abroad

Hi, was wondering what the procedure is if I wanted to bring my own rifle to Devon to hunt next year?I would be travelling from Norway and have the EU firearms passport.ATB Toby

you're going to need to find someone here (your guide/outfitter possibly) that will support your visitor's firearms permit. You'll have to apply to the local police where you intend to shoot for a visitor's permit/certificate. Remember to include any moderators and extra barrels as well as guns. You'll apply (or maybe you're sponsor will apply on your behalf) and only once it is granted can you bring them into the country. You'll have to store them at your sponsor's gun cabinet while you're here.
